The chrono is a particular eye catcher this year after being party to the recent WIN of Julien Kerneur on the French race championships. The first thing you notice about the 2011 Takoon Chrono Kite is the Quality of the package with all of the spares you need just in case and enough space in the bag to put your kite away on even the windiest days. The canopy and struts are covered in an eye catching print that will really set you apart on the beach.
Takoon have been working really hard over the last year to improve the Chrono and transform it into a super stable fast and powerful freeride and race machine as the sport grows by the day.
The "Diamond control bar" is re-designed for the 2011 Chrono and it has really come on with Cousins lines and a real quality feel to the item. The trim is supplied via a simple clam cleat system that sits above the bar and out of harms way.

kite and you will score some decent air time if you dare to go for it and will be the happiest kiter on earth. The Takoon Chrono goes far into the window and will just keep pulling, the de-power is accurate and works really well.
The kite is still really stable and powerful enough for you to throw all the basic unhooked moves plus the shape at the top of the chicken loop fits into the bottom of the bar allowing hooking in a lot easier.This kite is clearly not designed for unhooked freestyle but will still satisfy most riders.
