THE 2011 SLINGSHOT LUNACYThe Slingshot Lunacy has been the preserve of freestyle and wakestyle purists for a while now, Co designed By Ruben Lenten the Slingshot Lunacy board was designed to amplify a hard charging riding style and make it easier to go bigger,harder and faster than ever before.
For 2011 the Lunacy board has seen modifications made in many different areas, The outline has remained straight and box like to retain the aggressive pop and huge amounts of control on the rails, channels have been added to the bottom profile of the board making the board hold better even in the lightest wind and making it super stable at speed. Slingshot FRT2 ( Future Response Technology) is incorporated also and is lighter than previous years, this coupled with the radioactive pop core allow the board to be light and flexible but still retain the awesome pop the previous years boards were famous for.
Slingshot single shot sidewalls make the sidewall an integral part of the boards make up by injecting an indestructible resin between the laminate layers, sealing the wood core for good.
The New 2011 Slingshot Fastrack system allows for endless stance options letting you tailor your stance to your riding style and allowing you to quickly change your stance options on the beach.
The Slingshot Lunacy has been made slightly more forgiving for 2011 making it easier to spend a whole day on the water without taking its toll on your knees, Slingshot have cracked it this year, keeping the aggressiveness of the pop while making the board less of a handful through the chop or just riding about.
